Multi-award winning journalist Sue LloydRoberts sadly died last year at the age of 64, before she could finish her last book. She was a brave investigative journalist, and a pioneer in putting women’s rights on the agenda, thus fighting back in her own way in this terrible war. Her book contains 12 examples of horrific gender inequality.

Following Lloyd-Roberts’ much too early death her daughter, Sarah Moris, finished the book. Here is a BBC interview with her. She rightly says there is still so much to do. But I’m happy to report our women’s army is growing!
