Do you ever feel like something is holding you back, despite your ambition and drive? Like you’re constantly putting others first, even when it comes at the expense of your own dreams? You may be experiencing the “We-Mind,” a way of thinking and being that prioritizes relationships, harmony, and the well-being of the group.

In “We-Mind vs. Me-Mind: A New Vision for Success in Leadership and Life,” I explore the challenges and opportunities that come with being a We-Minded individual in a world that often values more Me-Minded traits like assertiveness and competition. Drawing on my own experiences as a journalist, life coach, and mother, as well as extensive research in psychology, neuroscience, and sociology, I offer a groundbreaking new framework for understanding why so many high-achieving women struggle to reach their full potential.

This book will help you:

  • Understand the We-Mind and its strengths: Discover how your We-Mind can be a source of resilience, creativity, and connection. It’s the driving force behind your empathy, collaboration skills, and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Recognize the “inner glass ceiling”: Identify the subtle ways in which societal expectations and your own We-Minded tendencies can hold you back from pursuing your ambitions.
  • Overcome self-doubt and imposter phenomenon: Learn how to silence your inner critic and embrace your accomplishments without feeling the need to downplay them. You’ll gain valuable strategies for building self-confidence and reclaiming your sense of worth.
  • Redefine success on your own terms: Let go of the pressure to conform to traditional, often male-dominated, definitions of success. Instead, you’ll be empowered to create a vision of success that aligns with your values and priorities.
  • Develop a more authentic leadership style: Discover how to leverage your We-Minded strengths to become a more effective and inspiring leader. You’ll learn how to create a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and psychological safety within your team and organization.

“We-Mind vs. Me-Mind” is a must-read for any high-achieving woman who wants to break free and create a more fulfilling and impactful life. It’s a call to action to embrace your unique strengths and redefine success in a way that honors your values and empowers you to make a real difference in the world.

The power to create lasting change begins with you. Ready to reclaim your We-Mind and unlock your full potential?

Like all of us, you too have a We-mind and a Me-mind. One of the two leads, the other follows. As the name suggests, your We-mind primarily focuses on the well-being of the group and your Me-mind has your own well-being at heart.

You have both, but most people lead with one. Most (but not all) women tend to lead with their We-Mind and most men lead with their Me-Mind. However, the degree to how we- or me-minded you are is unique to you.

Both minds have their own values, priorities and strategies for goal setting, problem solving, conducting business, communication, approaching leadership, resovling conflict and other areas of life.

On the whole, Western society appreciates the me-minded way of being. That’s why we-minded individuals may feel they don’t fit in.

If you are dominantly we-minded you’re more likely to struggle with what I call an inner glass ceiling. You should know that many ‘flaws’ you think you need to overcome in order to be successful and leader-like, are in fact We-minded life strategies, which are misunderstood and not valued.

Rather than trying to change yourself, embracing your unique strengths will get you out of stagnation and into flow.

Remember: true leadership is we-minded.
